My favourite food "Chicken Biryani"
Biryani is a mixed rice dish with its origins among the Muslims of the subcontinent.It can be compared to mixing a curry, later combining it with semi-cooked rice separately. This dish is popular throughout the Pakistan. I like it because it's tasty and spicy .
List of Ingredients:
- 600 gm basmati rice
- 4 tablespoon mint leaves
- salt as required
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 2 tablespoon tomato puree
- 400 gm white onion
- 8 green cardamom
- 1 kilograms chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 4 green chilli
- 300 gm tomato
- 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 6 tablespoon refined oil
For Marination:
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
- 6 tablespoon plain greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon powdered turmeric
The steps of cooking:
- Boil the rice
- Marinate the chicken for 20-30 minutes
- Saute onions and tomatoes for 2-3 minutes
- Add the marinated chicken to the mixture
- Cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes
- Turn off the flame
- Serve hot
When it's all done biryani looks like Long-grained rice (like basmati) flavored with exotic spices, such as saffron,chicken and a thick gravy.The biryani has nique aroma that is contributed by the authentic ingredients used in its preparation.It tastes like the heady aromas, the vibrant colors, the fluffy rice and those addictive curry flavors.
