Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can handle different flooring. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Check for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. robot vacuum cleaners -and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to map the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and was able to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, but it sometimes was unable to navigate down the stairs in one move. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how much you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an effective solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station if needed.

This robot has an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It also has a number of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty impressive, and comes with two spinning mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure that an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.

Its navigation is smart that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one area to another without having to reverse direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge margin around obstacles. This can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and streamlined. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting and view 2D and 3-D maps. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris but they aren't able to reach every bit of dust. It's essential to clean your home regularly, once a week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to accomplish exactly that. It is simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and comes with plastic body.

Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 has the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is one of the few robots we test that didn't have trouble with high-pile carpets and area rugs, but it couldn't pick up cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. The device also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction if needed. You can also mark areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
