It has a capacity that is superior to counter-depth models and also cools evenly. It's also a bit cheaper than the best counter depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which makes it a desirable option.<br /><br />Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator<br /><br />If you're looking for a French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune this Frigidaire is a great choice. It's a basic design that isn't as striking visually like some of the competitors but it does have enough features that make it a great option. Its most significant feature, the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food like vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser, as well as an excellent Ice machine that is fast.<br /><br />The "Chill Drawer", which is located over the two crisper bins, is another excellent feature. The drawer allows you to divert part of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, so you can put away food items that require special attention. This feature can be adjusted by using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the general settings are more effective than the specific ones.<br /><br />In my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different areas of the fridge. Temperatures at the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray very far from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36.
