  <p>More and more people are buying standup paddleboards, but is it fun and can you actually use it for sport and training? You can't really go anywhere near water during a warm summer day without seeing a bunch of people paddling around. It looks like fun and trust me, it most certainly is.
    It may look really easy but is it really easy or does it take a long time to learn paddleboarding? For most people you can learn the basics how to paddleboard, keep your balance ect. within an hour. So unlike many other sports it's actually really easy to get started with.

  <h2>Is paddleboarding fun?</h2>
  <p>For most people paddleboarding is super fun. Even the learning process is fun(but hard), and the better you become the more fun it is. If you have the right supboard. Being really good and having a beginners board certainly takes a lot of fun out of it. The same goes if you have an advanced board and lack the skills to use it properly.
    It's a fun sport to do alone and it's even more fun when you do it with your friends or family.

  <h2>Paddleboarding as training</h2>
  <p>Paddleboarding is not only fun - it's also a really good training. You use a large part of your musles when paddling around and if you do it slowly it's just as relaxing as walking but you burn more calories and it's way more fun.
  If you want to burn more calories, you just increase your paddle speed and it becomes much harder. Similar to running, run faster and it become harder and you burn more energy.
  Many middleages or older people use a stand up paddleboard as an alternative to running as it's much less hard on the knees and joins. You are a lot less likely to get a sports injury while using a paddleboard compared to running.

  <h2>Which Supboard to buy?</h2>
  <p>If you are completely new to standup paddleboarding you may want to consider buying a cheap model just to try it out and feel if it's something for you. It's also much easier to buy the right board when you know a little bit more about what you need and what type of training or fun you want to do on the paddleboard. Some wants to use it for long trip which requires a slim long board, others found out how much fun it is at the beach and prefer a smaller wider model and so on. Picking the ideal board is much easier once you know exactly how you are going to use the standup paddleboard.

  <p>As you can see there are several reasons to buy a standup paddleboard. Not only is it great fun, it's also great training for the entire body and something you can by yourself or with others and still enjoy it a lot. Paddleboarding are here to stay so you may just as well jump right into it and buy a proper standup paddleboard at one of the many webshops out there. But you need to be fast, as many webshops are already low on stock or have sold out so in a month or so I am sure it will be really hard to get a good quality supboard.
